Come see what’s new 🤭

Hello hello everyone. Well I haven't been on for awhile, haven't posted anything new and been kind of in a funk. It is so hard to describe to everyone just how different it is for me to live in the Middle East. Don't get me wrong it is absolutely beautiful, so many places to explore, and oh so much shopping to do. However, it just feels very lonely and like I am missing something (besides my kiddos).

When I was in the states I made tumblers, pens, t-shirts, and so much more, so that kept me busy and my mind occupied. Here I have a few American friends and work. But, they are all men and are not always interested in the same things as I am, for the most part, but not all. So I miss the good old fashion girl talk, glam sessions, or just to have the same thoughts as I do. Something to distract me and help move the time along 😉. I do miss being so creative with all my sparkly glitter I had, but to get all of that here would be more of a pain than it's worth, but I need something to do with my down time besides spending a lot of unnecessary money 😂.

So……

I decided to launch a candle and fragrance business. I am in the absolute perfect location for some great quality oils with amazing scents, so why not!! I am so excited to start this journey, and I hope it does well, but if not at least I will have fun in the process.

So why did I decide to do this you may ask? Well multiple reasons actually. I love working with my hands and love making things that people are so interested in and eager to have. Unique and handmade are my two favorite things to buy. BUT the main reason why I made this decision was because since I have been here in this country I have had a very hard (actually impossible) time trying to find wax cubes for my tea light burners or some of the scents for candles that I am use to. Yes, I know I can go to bath and body works to purchase candles, but they are so expensive here and still don't have wax cubes or crumbles. AND THEY ARENT HOMEMADE. 🤭

I converted my maids room into my new office/workspace and I can not wait to get started on the trial phase. So the first round of candles and cubes will be tested today and tomorrow. As long as there are no major issues I should be able to do a soft launch. I hope you all will stay tuned through this process. Be excited!! I know I am.
